A series about a recovering alcoholic that lashes out at everybody around him until a beautiful woman moves in next door. Suddenly he has something worth trying for (with a little nudging from his friend and flat-mate). You may start watching the show to see what a life it is to tell everybody off and speak your biased truth while pretending not to care. It gets old after a while. We all know he'll get the girl, mess it up somehow and either get back together for a happy ever after ending, or wallow in his sorrow until he finds another love interest. In short, this is nearly a romantic comedy stretched out over 2 seasons with the same generic story and a few "gotchas".
