Drew McGinniss

Drew McGinniss is a filmmaker and multimedia artist working out of Greensboro, NC and Carbondale, IL. In 2022, he earned an Associate in Arts degree from Guilford Technical Community College, and in 2024, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Studies from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. He is currently an MFA student in the Media Arts program at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He has worked on indie film sets, usually as part of the lighting department, and he has experience in both pre and postproduction as a writer and editor. Drew also works in a variety of other mediums including interactive media, photography, podcasts, prose fiction, and theater. His work has been shown in museums, festivals, and international exhibitions.
