His notable works include The Devil’s Symphony (2024) and Death is Only the Beginning (2024), both of which have garnered critical acclaim. At a recent film festival, The Devil’s Symphony won Best Student Film, while Death is Only the Beginning received awards for Best Comedy Film and Best Screenplay. In recognition of his talent and potential, Winward was awarded the Franc Roddam Production Bursary, which contributed to the funding of his final major project at university. His work has also been acknowledged at various film festivals, including the Middlesbrough International Film Festival, where he won Best Film twice, and the Tees Valley International Film Festival, where he received Official Nominee and Official Selection statuses. Additionally, he was among the winners of the Jurassic Park ReCreate 25th Anniversary Competition, with his work being showcased on ITV’s This Morning.
