As a writer, he is on the writing team for the TV sitcom, Maria and the Mennos (2023). Alec has also been awarded UWPG Film Festival's Best Performance in a Leading Role as well as Best Canadian Film in 2021 for the short film In a Moment's Notice (2021), which he wrote, directed, and starred in.
