Actor

David Velez

With over a decade of experience composing for TV/Film, scenes had to be broken down and studied well which gave David a great advantage when he decided to delve into the world of being in front of the camera in the form of actor as opposed to behind it working on the post production aspect. David began his on-screen career being an armed guard alongside John Leguizamo in "The Infiltrator". He played a few background roles before landing a speaking role as "Miguel", opposite Academy Award nominee Burt Young in the film "Epiphany". David then went on to play the role of "Jim" and be the focus of the opening scene in the UK action thriller "Dead Ringer". Having been called a natural talent by directors he's worked with, David truly immerses himself in the character he is portraying. When he is off-screen, David is still an avid music composer with over 90 TV series to his credit as well as feature films. He prides himself in specializing in cultural music authenticity.
