Born and raised in Bristol, Dainton began his acting career at the age of four. His natural talent and dedication to the craft quickly caught the attention of industry professionals, and he was soon cast in his first role. In 2017 at the age of 4, Dainton made his professional debut in the Sky Atlantic Tv series, Patrick Melrose starring Benedict Cumberbatch, playing his Son, Thomas Melrose. After starring in a commercial for Thomas the Tank Engine, 2019 saw Dainton playing Marvin Mucklowe, in the award winning TV series This Country for the BBC. In 2021, Dainton filmed a commercial for Facebook portal, for Grandparents day in which is played a grandson for the short clips featuring online and social media sites. Since 2022, Dainton has filmed for the ITV TV series Stonehouse featuring Keeley Hawes in February, whilst then going on to film Archie, an ITV Drama, playing the young version of the title role working alongside Jason Issacs.
