Malcolm XD

Malcolm XD is an anonymous Polish writer and screenwriter, best known for his humorous copypastas — short, shareable internet stories that became a cultural phenomenon online. He first gained attention as the author of the cult pasta „Mój stary to fanatyk wędkarstwa”, which was adapted into a film and a comedic theatre play. In 2019, Malcolm XD collected his copypastas and published them in the book ‘Pastrami’, and the same year released his debut novel ‘Emigracja’, followed by ‘Edukacja’ (2020) and ‘Eskapada’ (2024). These works further established his voice in contemporary Polish literature. Emigracja was later adapted into the successful comedy series Emigracja XD on Canal+. Despite his growing fame, Malcolm XD keeps his real identity hidden; during public appearances he uses a modified gaming machine with cameras and a distorted voice for interviews. He lives in Warsaw and continues to write and co-create screenplays rooted in his unique blend of satire, internet culture, and fictionalized personal experiences.
