Nicola Conversa is an Italian director, screenwriter, and actor known for his work in cinema and television, as well as for his activity on the web. Conversa's career began in 2010 when he founded the comedy group Nirkiop, which quickly gained popularity on YouTube thanks to humorous videos based on everyday situations. In 2014, he wrote and starred in the group's first feature film, La Matricola. In 2018 his short film Mezzanotte Zero Zero was selected as a finalist for the David di Donatello awards. In 2021, he published his first novel, Nella mia testa, based on personal experiences. In 2022, he participated in the Real Time show Questa è casa mia. His cinematic directorial debut came with Un oggi alla volta, which was presented in the Panorama Italia section at Alice nella città 2023. The film tells the story of a youthful romance marked by the uncertainty of the future and has been praised for its sensitive approach to deep themes with a light touch.
