Kateryna Korchynska (born December 20, 1990, in Ukraine) is an actress, producer, and cinematographer known for her work in independent films, particularly within the horror and thriller genres. Korchynska's passion for film led her to begin her professional journey in 2016. She gained experience working on various independent short films and television shows, building a foundation for her career. Her breakthrough came in 2017 when she secured her first feature film role in "The Wicked Gift" (2017). Later that same year, she achieved her first leading role in the feature film "Die in One Day" (2017). These early roles helped establish her presence in the independent film scene. In "The Demon's Child" (released in 2021/2022), Korchynska delivered a notable performance as Dora/Nora. This horror-mystery-thriller showcased her talent in portraying complex characters within suspenseful narratives. Beyond "The Demon's Child," Kateryna Korchynska has a growing filmography that includes:"Bloody Trip: The Equinox Killer" (2024), "Clownery" (2020), "Road to Hell" (2018), "Applausi" (Short, 2021). In addition to her acting career, Kateryna has also actively worked behind the camera. She began her journey as a producer in August 2017 and has since contributed to the development of numerous projects, including "The Demon's Child." Furthermore, she has credits as a cinematographer on projects such as "Bloody Trip: The Equinox Killer" (2024) and "Clownery" (2020). Demonstrating her commitment to the film industry, Kateryna co-founded Vertex Entertainment in 2020 with Eros D'Antona. In 2023, they further expanded their endeavors by establishing a new production company, Funny Dreamers, in Canada.
