Asen Georgiev was a Bulgarian actor, screenwriter and writer. Asen Georgiev was born on January 28, 1940 in Sofia, Bulgaria. He was a versatile artist with appearances in different areas of culture - film and theater actor, screenwriter, editor of feature films, author of several fictions. He created vivid and memorable characters in the movies: "Snooze" (1965), "Swedish King" (1968), "Freedom or Death" (1969), "Every kilometer" (1969), "Armando" (1969), "Do not Look back" (1971) , "At Every Kilometer" (1971), "The Boy is Going" (1972), "A Peasant on a Bicycle" (1974), "Highway" (1975), "Heat" (1978), "In the Name of the People" (1984), "Echelons of death" (1986). In the history of Bulgarian cinema he will remain as a original author of scripts such as "Tough Love", "Uoni", "As a Tracer," "Taste of Pearl", "Y-17".
