Patrícia Sequeira

Patrícia Sequeira started her career in Production but soon went working as Script Supervisor of TV programs. After seven years of experience in live shows, entertainment and fiction contents, she debuted as Director with the first Portuguese edition of Who Wants to be a Millionaire? (RTP), was part of the directing team of telenovelas Fúria de Viver and O Jogo (SIC), and directed the miniseries Segredo in Brazil (RTP). As freelancer, she wrote several short films, including O Elevador and O Elevador II - Inbox. She gained notoriety at NBP (current Plural Entertainment), the production company where she dedicate 10 years of her life and was promoted to Project Manager of TV series Morangos com Açúcar (seasons II and III) and telenovela Doce Fugitiva, both for TVI. In 2007, with the foundation of SP Televisão, she continued managing and directing fiction programs, for RTP and SIC, awarded in Portugal and abroad. At this production company, she left her personal mark in TV series such as Conta-me Como Foi, Liberdade 21, Cidade Despida, Velhos Amigos, Depois do Adeus and, most recently, Terapia; as well as in the telenovelas that changed the panorama of audiences in Portugal, Laços de Sangue e Mar Salgado. In 2014 she created her own production company, R.I. Filmes, and with it her first feature film, Jogo de Damas, that was very well-received abroad as well. In recent years, she also has been the Artistic Director of telenovelas like Coração d'Ouro and Amor Maior, and has signed works in Advertising.
