Henry initially worked as a film publicist prior to embarking on a career as an extra in the late 1940's. A brawny man with a rugged face, close-cropped hair, and a strong build, Walter could be often spotted in various movies and TV shows as thugs, soldiers, or police officers. Henry died at age 83 on February 21, 2005 in Edgware, Middlesex, England.
