Thomas Allen

Thomas Michael Allen is an American actor, writer and producer. He was born in Washington, D.C., his father was a salesman and his mother a professional day care provider. He began studying acting while in high school in Fairfax, Virginia and attended The North Carolina School of the Arts, leaving when cast in a national tour of "Camelot". He then appeared for a season at The Folger Theater in Washington before moving to New York City. In New York, he co-created and appeared in the original cast of the long running Off Broadway hit "Tony and Tina's Wedding" which ran for seventeen years in New York and spawned productions all over the world. After appearing in the LA company of the show, he was selected by Christopher Guest and Rob Reiner to recreate his role for the Fox TV series. A successful voice over and commercial actor, he has appeared in hundreds of spots over the years. He is the voice the role of Peanut in the critically acclaimed Cartoon Network animated series "Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law", co-starring with Stephen Colbert and Gary Cole. In 2008, Thomas was accepted into the famed BMI Musical Theater Workshop, whose work recently won a Tony.
