Li Yang was born in Nan'an, Fujian Province. After graduating from Beijing Broadcasting Institute in 1982, he worked at CCTV. He successively hosted the famous hit programs of CCTV, "Culture Life", "Everywhere in the Motherland", "Kyushu Fangyuan", "Coastal Pearl" and other programs. Its relaxed and slightly witty style is loved by the audience.
