Yuji Moriyama

Yuji Moriyama (森山 雄治, Moriyama Yūji, January 6, 1960) is a Japanese anime director, animator, animation supervisor and character designer from Tokyo. He is a member of the Japanese Animation Creators Association (JAniCA). He won the fourth Japan Anime Awards in the Animation Director category. Some of his many pennames are Yūji Motoyama (もとやまゆうじ), Jōdo Saihō (西宝 壌土), Kotarō Kazama (風間 小太郎), Norihiro Sunakawa (砂川 則博), MONTAN, Wataya Shibakano (芝跨野 渡也) , Tōya Shibamata (柴又 十哉), Alan Smithee (阿藍 隅史), Nachiko Nekobe (猫部 那智子), and Tadao Uota (魚田 尹夫).
