Born 1969

Tim Connolly (born December 31, 1969) is an American stunt performer, coordinator, and second-unit director. Standing at six feet one inch with an athletic build, he first gained recognition for his work as a stunt performer on major action blockbusters. Early in his career, he performed stunts in high-adrenaline films such as 300 (2006) and The Matrix Reloaded (2003). Connolly built a reputation as a reliable stunt double, most notably doubling Gerard Butler in Geostorm, Callan Mulvey in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Liev Schreiber in X‑Men Origins: Wolverine, and Ben Affleck in Daredevil. He also worked on well-known franchises, including Fast & Furious, John Wick, and Jurassic World, showcasing his versatility and commitment to physically demanding roles. Over the years, Connolly amassed more than 100 stunt credits, cementing his place behind the scenes in Hollywood action cinema. Beyond performing stunts, Connolly has shifted into leadership positions in the industry. He served as fight coordinator on multiple episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., including key episodes like “Window of Opportunity” and “Collision Course,” in addition to helming stunt coordination for series such as Runaways and The Old Man, the latter of which he also second-unit directed. His coordination work spans various genres and franchises, including contributions to Venom and Altered Carbon.
