Yuka Nomura is a Japanese actress and model affiliated with Carrera. She hails from Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. She has one younger sister. Yuka graduated from Tokyo High School and later completed her studies at Seijo University's Faculty of Literature, majoring in European Culture. Yuka began her career as a child model at the age of 3. In 1993, she joined Space Craft talent agency and appeared in the TV drama series "Thursday Ghost Stories" (Fuji Television) in 1995. She gained prominence as a model for the girls' fashion magazine "Nicola," becoming a pioneer of the "Chaidoru" (Child Idol) trend. Her fashion style became popular among teenage girls. In 1999, she ventured into the music industry, releasing two singles, "Pain" and "Sekirara," under the Antinos Records label. In 2002, Yuka entered Seijo University through regular admission. After enrolling, she gradually reduced her work commitments and suspended her activities after the 2004 play "GOOD." In spring 2005, she returned to acting with the film "Memories of the Womb: You Are Here." She resumed public appearances and made her debut on stage during the preview screening on November 27, 2006. On July 19, 2007, Yuka launched her official blog, "nomulabo." In September 2009, she started another official blog, "Yushoku," dedicated to macrobiotic lifestyle. In April 2016, her official blog was relocated and integrated into the LINE Blog platform. On September 6, 2011, Yuka married a man one year her senior. They held their wedding ceremony and reception on October 16 of the same year. On May 12, 2016, she announced her first pregnancy and gave birth to a daughter on September 29.
